We are a non profit tax exemption organization recently established for the purpose of restoring an historic Texas cemetery originally for colored people. This historic cemetery has graves from 1800s and the cemetery as a whole has been abandoned and neglected for over forty (40) years. Restoration Project
Our restoration project began by the grassroots efforts of the community. The local community came out over a weekend with all sorts of lawn and gardening tools and worked an entire day. Removing one branch, weed, dead tree, etc.. at a time. Some of the initial volunteers are pictured above.

Please come join us for this historic event to celebrate the LCA Inaugural Dinner/Banquet, November 11, 2017 at Saint Michael Parish from 5:00pm - 7:30pm
and 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm after party dancing -featuring Cuero's own Abbie Barnett guest speaker and Rue Davis R&B Legend.
